Capability

Tight Tolerance CNC Machining to ±0.0001"

When your application demands absolute dimensional precision, Swiss CNC machining delivers tolerances that conventional machining cannot achieve.

Overview

Tight Tolerance Machining

TXSwiss specializes in tight tolerance machining with dimensional accuracy down to ±0.0001" (0.0025mm). Our Swiss-type CNC lathes are purpose-built for precision — the guide bushing supports the workpiece at the point of machining, virtually eliminating deflection and enabling tolerances that conventional CNC turning cannot consistently achieve.

How It Works

The Process

Swiss CNC machines feed bar stock through a guide bushing that supports the material directly at the cutting zone. This eliminates the deflection that occurs in conventional lathes where the workpiece is only supported at the chuck. The result is dramatically tighter tolerances, better surface finishes, and higher repeatability — especially on long, slender parts that would deflect on conventional equipment.
